My Background
John Ruthven began his journey in Financial Services in 1975 after obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Auburn University. In 2000, John took on the role of Chief Financial Officer at one of the nation’s largest Hospice Providers. Following the sale of that company in 2003, John launched his first Hospice in Alexandria, La. Two years later, he opened a second location in Moody, Al. He found that helping families care for their loved ones during their final days was the most fulfilling role he had ever held. In 2014, after the passing of his twin sister, John decided to sell his Hospice and return to Panama City. Driven by his desire to continue helping others, he re-entered the Financial Services Industry as a Retirement Income Professional, assisting clients in preparing for retirement. Now, John is thrilled to partner with Integrated Trust Systems and Coast Financial Group to offer a unique, user-friendly, self-guided option for establishing a modern, economical, and flexible estate plan.
